Overview

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of Matrizen ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

Subscription

Matrizen is a subscription-based service. Access to features is provided as long as your subscription remains active.

Subscription billing, renewals, and payments are handled securely by Polar Software, Inc., which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. Depending on your selected plan, subscriptions may renew on a monthly or yearly basis.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse the platform or its infrastructure.

Your Content

Matrizen lets you publish content from your Notion pages as public websites. You are solely responsible for the content you publish and must hold all rights necessary to publish it. You agree not to publish content that is unlawful, infringing, or that violates the rights of others. We may remove content or suspend sites that violate these terms or applicable law.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service in cases of abuse, violation of these terms, or unlawful activity.

Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Matrizen and its owner will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind.

Refunds

Matrizen offers a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your payment by contacting support@matrizen.app. Refunds are processed through Polar, our merchant of record. After 14 days, subscription payments are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Refunds are issued in full to your original payment method. Depending on your bank, it can take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

Changing Plans

You can change plans at any time from the billing portal or the Account tab. Changes are prorated: when you upgrade you are charged immediately for the difference for the remainder of your current period, and when you downgrade the unused balance is applied as a credit toward your next invoice. Your renewal date does not change.

If your new plan allows fewer sites than you currently have, your most recently updated site stays online automatically and the others are paused (not deleted) while you choose which to keep. If you upgrade again before making a choice, everything is restored as it was. Once you choose, the sites you do not keep are permanently deleted — including their custom domain, theme, and other settings — though we keep a 30-day recovery copy our support team can restore from if you change your mind. Any custom domain beyond your new plan's limit is also removed at that point and must be re-added manually if you upgrade again.

Deleting a Site

You may request deletion of an individual site at any time using the Delete button on its site card. This is a request, not an instant action: the site stays live and unaffected until we review and approve it, which helps prevent accidental or repeated delete-and-recreate cycles. Once approved, deletion is permanent and immediate — including the site's files, custom domain, and settings — with nothing kept for recovery. This is separate from deleting your account entirely, which remains immediate and self-service (see our Privacy Policy).

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of North Macedonia, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
